Offering a very soft practice to help your body find relaxation while also moving with mindfulness and intention. This class is particularly shaped around bodies that practice Jiu-Jitsu however it is also a class welcome to every-body.

Hatha, meaning sun and moon, represents the balancing of these energies. Join Lilly for a balancing practice through movement, breath and meditation. This gentle practice is held for every body as we reconnect with our inner peace.

Come out and dive a little deeper into your practice with this Yurt Yoga class that will offer a bit more vigor. This weekly offering will take the physical poses, or asanas, a bit deeper as you are reminded of your own strength and patience. Melissa will take you through an exploration towards a peak pose, warming up your mind and body, exploring different ways to access more challenging poses, followed by time to cool down and rest. This class will be filled with modifications welcoming all yogis to join! With emphasis on keeping yoga accessible for every body, Melissa will safely guide you through a yoga practice as you reunite with your breath and welcome mindful movements into your body, quieting your mind and finding your way into the present moment.

Find your way to soften and release into relaxation as Melissa leads you through a gentle and restorative yoga practice. This class focuses on gentle yoga poses and sinking into restorative and supported poses for extended periods, allowing the body to release tension and deeply relax. Using props for support, you'll gently open and stretch, encouraging a sense of calm and balance. Perfect for all levels, this practice promotes rejuvenation and stress relief.

Yoga is much more than just the poses! Join us for this awesome workshop series as we dive deeper into what actually is Yoga. At each gathering we will overview and discuss two of the 8 limbs of yoga. This series will be led by Melissa along with some awesome guest teachers!!
We will gather in the Yurt on the first Saturday of each month of Jan-April. This offering is available in person in the beautiful Yurt at Soul Food Farm LLC in Shepherdstown, WV or virtually via Zoom.
